Welcome Message from Congress President
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee of the 7th International Biennial Congress of the International Cleft lip and Palate Foundation, I am pleased and honored to invite you to the Congress. This event will be held on the exotic, East African Islands of the Seychelles from May 7th– 11th, 2012. For the first time, the congress is to happen in the African region. The venue has been chosen with a vision to reach out to and include more African delegates, as well as delegates from other developing countries. The International Conference Center, Mahe, Seychelles, chosen as the venue for this conference, provides a unique opportunity that blends the culture of Seychelles with modern technology to present state of the art scientific programs. An exciting social program is planned for delegates and accompanying persons that will allow all to experience the pearl of the Indian Ocean at its finest. This is an opportunity for everyone from around the globe to join in the cause, with an opportunity to socialize and develop new contacts, from the time of the opening ceremony through the end of the meeting at the gala dinner. We look forward to seeing you in Seychelles for an unforgettable experience that will be remembered for years to come.

See you there!
Dr. S. M. Balaji

Welcome Message from ICPF President
Dear friends,
It is my pleasure to invite you to the 7th ICPF 2012 International Congress on the Seychelles Islands off the East African coast from May 7-11, 2012. Luci and I will be there to give you a warm welcome to these beautiful islands, an ideal setting for both a relaxed time and for obtaining the latest, important information in the scientific field of cleft lip and palate care. The ICPF Congresses are outstanding, providing education regarding the delivery of excellence in team care. These beautiful islands serve as a gateway for Africa, our primary focus. But as always, we anticipate the presence of professionals from over 50 countries, with various team members interested in advancing the science and art of cleft lip and palate and the care of associated craniofacial anomalies.

Dear Colleagues,
I am happy to welcome you to the 7th Biennial World Congress of International Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation. It is for the first time that the Congress is to happen in the African Subcontinent. With the theme centered on Africa, I sincerely believe that the cleft rehabilitation teams from this part of the world will be immensely benefitting from the outcome of the Congress. I am delighted to share with you that the conference has been planned with a good balance of stimulating scientific deliberation, vibrant panel discussions and path breaking innovations to be presented. A good amount of time also has been allotted for leisure and socializing with Cleft teams across the world. On behalf of the ICPF, I once again welcome you to Seychelles for this congress.
